The Mauser RS7 was designed by Mauser in the 1930s and is a classic cantilever chair from the Bauhaus era.
What is particularly striking is the clean, precise bending of the steel tubing. The continuous line from the floor, over the armrests, to the backrest appears as if it were carved from a single piece, giving the chair its calm, clean form.
The frame offers a slight give when seated, without feeling flimsy. Combined with the gently reclined backrest, this provides a relaxed yet stable seating experience.
The seat and back are upholstered in black and finished with light-colored piping, which further accentuates the design. The black lacquered armrests show slight signs of wear and an authentic patina.
