Maintenance

To ensure that your garden table lasts a long time, it is important to maintain it properly. Maintenance requirements differ depending on the type of material.

Wooden garden tables need regular maintenance to maintain their quality. Clean the table at least once a year with a mild detergent and water. Do not use a pressure washer as this may damage the wood. If necessary, apply a new coat of stain to maintain the colour and protection. Metal often needs less maintenance than wood, but it is still important to clean regularly and touch up rust spots immediately with a metal repair agent.

Plastic is easy to clean with a mild detergent and water, but avoid abrasive materials that can cause scratches. Keep plastic garden tables away from hot objects such as barbecues as they can melt.

Glass tables should be cleaned with a special glass cleaner to avoid streaking. Avoid using abrasive materials that can cause scratches.
