Set of 3x ZEISS IKON ZI001 CHROME
Beautiful designer lamps by Zeiss Ikon in Chrome. The lamps originate from the former E.N.C.K. building in Vlaardingen. This building was designed by the architectural firm J.W.C. Boks, W. Eijkelenboom, and A. Middelhoek for E.N.C.K.-Delta Chemie. Unlike the original ZI001 Zeiss Ikon designer lamp, these versions have been completely redesigned. The upper section has been blasted and powder-coated with three layers of powder, creating a stunning chrome effect. The Zeiss Ikon ZI001 Bauhaus Lamp Chrome is a showpiece in any interior.
DESIGN LAMP WITH A PAST
These lamps were originally designed by modernist Adolf Meyer, assistant to Peter Behrens and lecturer at the Bauhaus Institute in Weimar. The mirror reflector is made entirely of glass, with a light gray exterior and a silver interior. The metal holder is fitted with a new E27 socket, suitable for LEDs. The Zeiss Ikon ZI001 Bauhaus lamps come standard with silver-colored, grounded textile wiring.

CRAFTMANSHIP AND RESTORATION
Each Zeiss Ikon lamp has been completely restored and redesigned by hand, with respect for the original. The upper part of the fixture has been blasted and powder-coated with three layers for a durable chrome finish. The lamps were then finished with new silver-colored, grounded textile wiring, fully complying with current safety standards. The glass shade has a mirrored interior and a matte light gray exterior. A typical feature of Zeiss Ikon production is the mirror reflector, which amplifies light intensity and creates a powerful yet atmospheric light.
