Beautiful, rare XL version of the iconic 'Flora' vase, designed by the renowned Czech glass designer František Koudelka in the 1970s. Produced by the Prácheň glass factory (Borské Sklo / Crystalex) in the former Czechoslovakia. This is the large model, standing 28.5 cm tall. This XL variant is significantly rarer and more sought after online than the smaller versions in this series. The vase is entirely hand-formed and mouth-blown (hutní sklo), making each piece unique. This model features a stunning, deep cobalt blue color with characteristic controlled air bubbles in the glass wall and a warm, contrasting orange/red glow in the core. As is common for Czech design from this period, the vase is not marked with an engraving; at the time, they were only fitted with a paper sticker that has disappeared over the years. However, the vase is 100% traceable and documented in design literature.
