Product description
An impressive and rare Italian designer floor lamp from the 1970s. The lamp features an organically shaped wrought iron stem with a gold leaf finish and is fitted with four handcrafted Murano glass flowers. The heavy glass base and high-quality finish give the lamp a particularly luxurious appearance.
The lamp is presumably by Poliarte. It comes from an interior that contained several original Poliarte lamps. Although this lamp does not bear a brand label, the quality, materials, and provenance align well with high-end Italian lighting from that period. Poliarte was known for combining glass, metal, and sculptural forms, although the most famous models are often more geometric in design.
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with a stunning patina on the gold leaf that has developed over the years. This actually gives the lamp extra character. The Murano glass is very finely crafted and provides a warm, atmospheric light distribution. Specifications
