The ILU di Vetro Design table lamp, known as the 'Egg Lamp', is a striking lighting object from the late twentieth century. This specific model distinguishes itself through its generous size and the distinctive, organic silhouette that immediately catches the eye in any interior.
Crafted from high-quality glass, the lamp displays a dynamic pattern of deep purple and white. The glass technique ensures a soft, diffuse light distribution when the lamp is switched on, while the object retains a sculptural quality even when unlit. The lamp has a height of 30 centimeters and rests on a metal base. The original wiring with switch is present.
The object is in functional condition with an authentic character. The glass shade is intact and retains its original shine, while the base reflects the ravages of time. There is a little rust on the metal base at the bottom; please see the photos. The logo is missing only on the metal base, but I have another lamp and it is present on that one; I obtained them together.
This table lamp comes into its own perfectly in a modern or eclectic interior. Placed on a sideboard, side table, or nightstand, it adds a touch of vintage design and atmospheric lighting to the room.
