Product description
Antique elegant dark wood writing desk, in Empire style, with lighter refined and sophisticated decorations, dating back to the 19th century, England. Along the surface there are floral inlay decorations.
The front has open arched compartments, a small door and small drawers for objects.
The upper part of this section is surmounted by a 'railing' in perforated brass, typical of furniture of this style. In the center there is an opening door covered in red/burgundy leather with gold lines, which also serves as a work surface for writing. Under the opening part, there is a large drawer.

The desk is in good general condition of conservation, it has slight defects in the material due to time and normal use. Slight scratches on the surface and signs/shortcomings compatible with the age of the furniture, considering that it is a piece of furniture from the nineteenth century.
