The 'Nieuw Amsterdam' DH01 wall coat rack is an iconic design by Willem van Gelderen for Spectrum, dating from the 1950s. This piece of furniture combines functionality with the distinctive aesthetic of post-war Dutch design, making it a sought-after object for lovers of mid-century modernism. Crafted from solid wood, this coat rack displays a warm brown hue that emphasizes the natural grain of the material. The design features a slatted structure and a series of rounded wooden hooks, creating an open and airy appearance. The coat rack is in good condition; only one rung on the top sustained some breakage damage and has been repaired (see last photo).
