Large antique color engraving dating from the late 18th century, depicting a young woman reading.
This print, made by Robert Stanier (born in 1770) after Francis Wheatley (1747-1801), was published in 1788 by the London publisher Colnaghi & Co. Two impressions from the same edition are held at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco and the Yale Center for British Art.
