With a heavy heart...
It really pains me to sell this beautiful set, but we've moved to Spain and unfortunately can't take it with us.
We briefly considered putting the sofa in storage and moving it later, but if we're honest with ourselves, it just won't suit our envisioned teepee lifestyle.
This sofa and armchair have served us faithfully for years, from movie nights to reading, from Sunday coffee to endless conversations with friends.
When I found this set, it was love at first sight. That rare four-seater sofa in that beautiful petrol color that goes perfectly with everything. And then there's the matching armchair... I hope it goes to someone who will enjoy it as much as we did.
What makes this set so special?
Authentic Scandinavian design from the 1960s.
I'm completely in love with that timeless mid-century design:

The slender teak legs - so elegant! Perfect comfort for long evenings of lounging
That coarsely woven wool upholstery in just the right petrol/teal shade. It's upholstered in a coarsely woven wool fabric in shades of blue and green, which together create the beautiful petrol color.
Did you know that four-seater sofas from the 1960s are incredibly rare? Most are two- or three-seaters. This spacious four-seater was perfect for our family and our many guests. Everyone fits comfortably on it, yet it still retains that refined mid-century look.
That petrol color...
Exactly why I fell in love with this set! Petrol/teal is my favorite color, and it goes with literally everything in our home:

✅ Includes new custom-cut foam! - I've already bought custom-cut foam for all the loose cushions (that'll save you at least €150-200!). You just need to round them off a bit and put them in the covers - an hour's work and you're done.

✅ Wonderful comfort - That low, spacious seat the 60s are known for. Perfect for truly relaxing.
Honesty about the condition:
The upholstery is coarsely woven wool in that beautiful petrol color, professionally cleaned and in good condition. The teak legs have some vintage character (it is, after all, 60+ years old), but that's just part of the experience. The filling of the loose cushions needs replacing, so I've already had new foam cut to size, which I'll include. You round them off a bit and simply slide them into the covers, and you're done! This gives you an authentic vintage look with new comfort.
For the comfort of the set, you don't need to replace the foam because it's truly wonderful. If you look closely, you'll only see that the old filling has hardened and really needs replacing.
Why am I selling?
We're fulfilling our dream and moving to Spain! But unfortunately, we can't take this beautiful set with us. The cost and hassle of international shipping are simply too high, and I'd rather someone enjoy it here than have it get damaged in transit. Also, the sofa is actually too big for the teepee we plan to live in. And taking the set apart and just taking the armchair would be a real waste.
