Description

This painting by Willy Van Sompel, ° 1948, is an acrylic work on canvas, and measures 100 cm (h) by 80 cm (w). You will also read a short explanation of the life and work of Willy Van Sompel, written for Flor Bex in 1983 (Flor Bex was from 1972 at the head of the International Cultural Center in Antwerp and from 1987 to 2002 helped lay the foundations for the current M HKA in Antwerp). Van Sompel's work can also be found in the collection of the M HKA. I bought this painting in February 2009 after having had a lease-purchase period for the first time (via Galerie Dijkstra). It is in perfect condition and the sale is to be able to purchase another work. Work can be viewed by appointment.
