Rare chest of drawers designed by Willy Rizzo, produced in Italy in the 1970s. The design exudes the characteristic luxury and sleek geometry for which Rizzo is known. The cabinet is crafted from dark wood and framed in brushed aluminium, a combination that creates a powerful contrast between warm and industrial materials. The wide aluminium top plate and plinth give the piece a solid, almost monolithic appearance. Behind the minimalist front are multiple drawers that open via a push-to-open system, leaving the surface completely handleless. This technical detail reinforces the clean lines of the design and emphasizes the pure form of the furniture. A rare and distinctive piece of Italian design from the 1970s in which architectural proportions, luxurious materials, and functionality come together.
