With its gracefully curved frame and refined slatted backrest, this mid-century cherry wood sofa exemplifies the elegant design sensibilities of the Wilhelm Knoll company in postwar Germany. Crafted in the 1960s, its organic lines and sculptural armrests give it a distinctive lightness, while the solid cherry wood construction speaks to the lasting quality of the piece.
The frame remains in very good vintage condition, showing only minimal lacquer wear in places consistent with age. Structurally sound and visually striking, it provides a strong yet graceful base for reupholstering. The original cushions are available but due for replacement. Reupholstery can be arranged through our professional team, with fabric options available on request (upholstery not included in listed price).
