Product description
Wilde + Spieth SE68 chair by Egon Eiermann. Egon Eiermann is considered one of the most important German architects of post-war modernism. Eiermann was not only highly regarded as an architect, but he also had a lasting influence on a generation of furniture designers. Eiermann was the first to develop mass-produced furniture in Germany after World War II that met international standards of form and functionality. He is considered the leader of the Second Modern Movement in furniture design. Eiermann designed a collection of chairs for Wilde & Spieth in 1948. The SE68 chairs are in good condition, but do show signs of wear (some more than others).
Sold individually, but very large quantities are available.
