White porcelain, without decoration or color, is a demanding exercise in style. Everything relies on the form, the quality of the clay body, and the fineness of the glaze. This salad bowl succeeds in this exercise with elegance. The outer body is adorned with a frieze of embossed gadroons, a classic motif that plays with light and gives movement to the white surface. The foot is scalloped, the glaze a luminous creamy white, the clay body fine and dense. The interior is perfectly smooth, without any decoration. A simple and timeless object, which fits equally well in a contemporary interior or on a traditional table. Diameter: approximately 24 cm. Height: approximately 8 cm. No visible mark.
