Elegant extendable teak dining table by White & Newton, a fine example of British mid-century modern design from the 1960s. The table features a beautifully understated rectangular top with warm teak grain, supported by four clean, subtly tapered legs. Its minimalist construction gives it a distinctly Scandinavian-inspired appearance, typical of high-quality British furniture from the period. A cleverly integrated folding extension leaf is stored beneath the tabletop. The two halves slide apart to reveal the extension, increasing the length from 136 cm to 196 cm and providing generous additional dining space when required. A timeless and highly practical dining table that combines elegant proportions with excellent everyday functionality.
