4 beautiful American Brutalist chairsA. Brandt Co.Fort Worth Ranch Oak furniture from the 50sOrigin: The A. Brandt Company was founded in 1900 in Fort Worth, Texas. However, the special Ranch Oak line was only introduced in 1938 and produced until the early 1980s.Style: These pieces, known as 'Western Americana' or rustic, were designed for ranches and homes and are characterized by their rustic appearance.Construction: The early pieces from the 1930s and 1940s are highly sought after due to their robust construction, hand-braided joints, and often characteristic natural oak surface with white wax details.Production & Marketing: The furniture was extremely popular in the Southwestern USA and was also partly used in government buildings.Identification: The pieces can be identified by a stamp with the inscription 'Ranch Oak' or 'A.B.' on the underside or in the drawers.Only available as a complete set. Very well preserved. With a beautiful patinaOak wood / white wax cognac-colored leather seats and the back interwoven with thick leather strips. Goods are differential taxed according to P25.2
