Product description
Werner Biermann armchair for Arte Sano Colombia. The German Biermann moved to Colombia in 1930 and founded the furniture factory ‘Arte Sano’ there. Artesano means handmade. This armchair was made around 1970 and the design fits within the Brutalist movement of Mid Century Modern. The wooden frame is upholstered in beautiful saddle leather. The chair is marked. Signs of wear consistent with age. Measurements: H. 73 cm; W. 57 cm; D. 74 cm; Seat Height. 26 cm.
