This rare set of four Wendy Wright chairs was designed by Philippe Starck and produced by Disform in Spain in the mid-1980s.
The steel frames now display a beautiful grey-black patina, replacing the original black finish with a soft, matte surface. This patina is characteristic of Wendy Wright chairs over time, giving them depth, texture and an authentic vintage presence.
With their tubular structure, triangular seat and circular backrest, the chairs express Starck’s postmodern language — graphic, architectural and surprisingly comfortable. They work equally well around a dining table, in a studio, or as sculptural accent chairs. to contemporary, industrial, or eclectic interiors.
Vintage sets from this period are increasingly hard to source and highly sought after by design collectors and Starck enthusiasts worldwide.
