Table clock with alarm, produced by Wehrle in the 1930s/early 1940s. An example of Art Deco design, featuring elegant geometric lines and a beautiful case veneered in fine walnut burl. Wood and burl case, brass bezel and details, and a glass front. Aesthetics: Very good and with a splendid patina. The wood still retains its glossy grain, with minimal traces of crackle on the burl. The dial is clear, and the glass is intact. There are minor signs of wear on the back consistent with its age (small losses to the gold finish on the lid). The clock and alarm are in perfect working order. Dimensions: 28 x 15 x 6 cm.
