Product description
Antique 19th-century water fountain/cooler, made of cut glass and brass, circa 1870-1890.
In the Napoleon III style, this fountain features a cut glass body with a diamond pattern, mounted on a brass structure comprising the base, neck, handles, and removable stopper.
It has two symmetrical handles with stylized decoration and a metal tap at the bottom.
The base is circular.
A harmonious piece.
Typical of the Napoleon III style, very fashionable in the 1870s-1890s for table fountains, coolers, and reception items.
This antique piece will serve a decorative purpose, adding considerable character and elegance.
Ideal for a stately home setting or as a striking contrast in a contemporary interior.

It is a good size, measuring 43 cm in height. Glass in very good condition, brass parts also in good condition, color still vibrant, slightly patinated with some signs of age consistent with its age. Tap is worn.
