The FK Lounge Shell Chair was designed by Jørgen Kastholm & Preben Fabricius and is part of the Walter Knoll collection. FK represents beautiful Scandinavian design with a classic, historical touch. Although the shell chair was originally designed in the 1960s, its clear contours, perfect lines, and unique shape are still clearly recognizable in contemporary design. In 1969, the chair was awarded the first Federal Style Prize for "good form." The FK Lounge Bucket Chair received a wave of admiration that is still palpable today. The chair is an icon of minimalist design.
