This elegant sideboard from Knoll International impresses with its clear design language and high-quality workmanship.
Made from fine walnut wood, the body with its warm grain brings a natural elegance to the room. The two sliding doors are lacquered in a deep black and can each be opened with a discreet leather handle - a stylish detail that combines the simple form with a pleasant tactile component.
The furniture rests on four discreet metal legs, which lend the solid body a certain lightness.
The interior is spacious and functional: Thanks to adjustable shelves, the storage space can be flexibly adapted - perfect for books, files or decorative objects. The key is also provided so that it can be locked. This model was sold by wohnbedarf in Zurich, as evidenced by the original plaque inside the furniture. The connection to wohnbedarf lends the sideboard a special cultural and historical relevance, as the Zurich furniture store was a key institution for modern design in Switzerland for decades and maintained close partnerships with international designers such as Knoll.
