A very attractive combined wall-mounted entryway coat rack, featuring an upper section with three twisted shelves and four hooks in the lower section. A finely crafted piece, typical of French wrought ironwork from the Art Deco/Mid-Century period (1930-1950).
The graphic black iron structure is topped with three rails/shelves designed for hats, caps, scarves, or clothes hangers. The flat iron base supports four hooks with diamond-shaped bases.
Assembly: Three of the hooks are riveted. One of the end hooks has a neat, old mechanical repair with a period slotted screw and a threaded rod on the back, attesting to the object's history without detracting from its aesthetic appeal.
