Wladimir Njemuchin (Moscow 1925-2016) was commissioned by Villeroy & Boch to design a series of seven constructivist wall plates, which were released in limited edition in 1991. The designs all deal with the theme of "card game.
This plate is number 1 from the series titled AS (ace).
