The LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) is one of Charles & Ray Eames' most iconic designs and was even named the "design of the century" by Time Magazine. The 1945/1946 design is the result of years of experimentation with three-dimensional plywood molding, resulting in a chair that conforms perfectly to the human body.
These two pieces are crafted from elegant black ash. Thanks to the subtle grain of the ash, the chair retains a natural and refined appearance, despite its deep black color. The chairs are in like-new condition, as they are showroom models. This is a unique opportunity to acquire this absolute design icon in near-new condition.
