Overall a beautiful tea cabinet/display cabinet with an extra glass shelf on top. The appearance suggests a classic/antique and Art Deco style (three crossbars at the bottom/middle).
The wood is in beautiful, neat condition; the top has some spots and stains, and some scratches around the edges. This is all acceptable given its age, presumably around 80-100 years old. Please lift the item as a whole and not by the somewhat fragile side slats at the top.
Glass (0.3 mm sheets) tends to become somewhat porous over the years and develops some spots and signs of wear if it is frequently exposed to use, moisture, and repair work.
The glass panels in the front flap have scratches and stains; we have captured this as best as possible (see photos with items inside; these items are not included in the price). This concerns only the entire cabinet. There are also some scuff marks on the glass at the top of the back, but these are barely visible from the front. Replacing the glass is very difficult; we would simply leave it as is. It is typical for this type of antique furniture. The contents inside the unit are minimal when viewed from a distance.
The flap closes and is held in place by a small magnet at the top. Do this gently and hold it firmly when opening; it is showing its age. It will not simply fall out.
Given the overall condition, we have taken the condition of the glass into account in the price; however, the furniture is beautiful throughout. It has received a complete furniture oil treatment and is now well 'nourished'.
It will be excellently packed and wrapped for shipping. Additional dimensions (dimensions are always approximate):
interior height 39 cm, width 55, depth 31.5 cm.
