The Olympia 1 armchair is commonly called a shell or saucepan from its shape. It’s a smaller version of a shell with an angular shape. It was produced in the non-existent German Democratic Republic. This chair has undergone a complete renovation. It consisted of removing old material, sponges, belts and insects. The metal frame was then cleaned, protected against corrosion and re-painted. The next step was to pull on the new belts, put on a sponge and put on a sheep. The culmination of the renovation was the upholstery with a beautiful material with stain-resistant properties. The feet were cleaned and re-painted with matt black varnish. Metal feet polished. The chair looks great. All stages of the renovation were carried out taking into account the original production process.
