Imposing in size, this rare wall sconce features a brass structure and a thick frosted glass diffuser, produced in France in the 1920s. Its design is characteristic of early Art Deco from the late 1920s, incorporating elements of Art Nouveau: floral motifs and geometric shapes. The craftsmanship is unparalleled. The high-quality materials are evident in the sconce's weight (10 kg). This is an important and historic piece with nearly a century of history. It provides soft, diffused light through the frosted glass. It can be installed as a wall or ceiling light. A second sconce is available.
