Vintage, mid-century, woven wall art/canvas/embroidery/needlepoint/ tapestry art, depicting bucolic images of nature, circa 1970's. Both of these beautiful pieces of framed wall decor, have vibrant colors of the era, set against a black background, which really makes the colors pop. Each piece has 3 butterflies of different sizes: one with them nestling in tall grasses, and the other, flying about a flowering bush. The textured, gold frames, add an extra level of elegance to the art contained within. Both pieces are in near mint, original condition, with very light signs of age and use commensurate with time on the needlepoint, (see photos) and a nice patina of time on the frames (see photos.) Some light marks of age and previous use on the frames and their backs (see photos.) The frames have only been gently dusted with respect to their original patina of time. Each piece has a loop at the back, to hang on a wall hook, when mounting onto a wall (see photo.) Perfect for any given retro, vintage, rustic- contemporary, mid-century, French farmhouse or country decor. All photos taken in natural, indoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, angles or perspective in which they are viewed.
