A beautiful device, this rare professional wooden studio camera on mobile tripod by the brand Marita (Belgium).
This large plate camera was formerly used for portrait or product photography in a professional studio. The camera has a bellows construction and a sliding lens plate for focusing. Everything is solidly made of solid wood, with metal dials and fine mechanics. On the back is a frosted glass for manual focusing of the image.
In good (according to the owner even still in working condition) vintage condition - ideal as a decorative piece for a photo studio, window display, interior project or as a collector's item for photography history enthusiasts.
