Product description
Stunning sculptural 1960s/70s Scandinavian design lamp made of turned (hand-worked / hand-carved) wood.
A lamp with character and presence that is a true eye-catcher in the right spot in your home.
The shade is typically Danish/Scandinavian and, according to the previous owner, is original to this lamp. We are not 100% certain of this.
You 'clip' the shade onto the lamp in a 'clothespin-like' manner.
The shade shows various signs of use, consistent with the age/lamp.
The wood is in beautiful condition, lightly oiled and well dried. No chips or deep scratches in the wood, only very light signs of use.
To turn the lamp on, there is a very charming plastic switch attached to the socket which, as far as we know, is made of plastic and not Bakelite. Dimensions (are always approximate, but measured as accurately as possible):

Height (without shade): 40 cm (up to fitting)
Base diameter: 18 cm
Cord length: 2.40 meters
Suitable for postal shipping; packed box inside box. We advise arranging insurance; as far as we know, this can be arranged during checkout. However, it is shipped without a bulb due to European guidelines, and generally, they arrive broken.
