Product description
Vintage wooden box with marquetry inlay of a map of South America. The box is made of various types of South American wood, often Brazilian wood species. The inlay depicts the countries of South America, using a different piece of wood for each country. These boxes were widely produced in Brazil in the 1960s as business card boxes or trinket boxes. Dimensions: 14 cm x 9 cm and 2.5 cm high. In neat vintage condition.
