A unique, authentic piece of craftsmanship from Surinamese woodcarving.
It depicts a stylized hand with an upward-pointing finger on a six-tiered base and a red foot with a small carved doorway on the front.
It is carved from a single piece of brownheart, a type of hardwood often used for these works.
