Table lamp by Steuler - designed by Cari Zalloni in a pagoda style and an extremely rare color. Cari Zalloni (1937–2012) was an Italian designer who first became known for his expressive ceramic designs for the German company Steuler Keramik. From the 1960s onward, as head designer there, he shaped the brand's image with organic forms, bold colors, and experimental glazes – particularly with iconic series like "Zyklon." He also designed for Fohr & Goebel (PAN Keramik), as well as glass objects for WMF, and swimwear and skiwear. In the 1980s, the sunglasses from his Cazal brand became a defining element of hip-hop culture in New York City. Artists such as Run-D.M.C. and LL Cool J wore his designs. Today, Cari Zalloni is considered a versatile designer who had a lasting impact on both post-war European ceramics and international pop and streetwear culture.
Base: Medium-sized, colorful neon yellow vase by Steuler. Bulbous shape, with the upper part in the typical pagoda style of the late 1960s, Fat Lava era, Mid-Century, WGP - West German Pottery. Very good, flawless condition. Acquired from an estate. Designer: Carli Zalloni. Rare color (neon yellow) with high collector value. Height without socket: 25 cm, with socket: 31 cm, circumference at widest point: 60 cm. Base stamped with manufacturer's mark and model number: 225 25.
The opening of the vase is closed with a high-quality brass plate and secured with our special plug-in solution. The vase is in flawless condition. The socket is also brass-colored and comes with a matching cable (with plug and rocker switch) that leads directly into the E27 socket via a so-called outlet sleeve. Everything was installed and tested by an electrician. The lamp can be placed on a table, sideboard, or side table as an eye-catcher, creating a beautiful ambiance in any room.
Medium-sized, like-new lampshade from Roomlight Studio, made of French half-Panama fabric, which is mounted on a rigid PVC film and rolled into a drum shape over two metal rings. Contrasting pattern, beautiful colors with lovely play of light – see photos. Diameter 30 cm, height 32 cm.
