A charming 70-year-old Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, traditionally handwoven in Anatolia from 100% wool.
Measuring 230 × 123 cm, this authentic vintage rug features a beautiful traditional rose and floral pattern, one of the most decorative motifs found in vintage Anatolian rugs.
The handwoven composition and naturally aged colours give the piece a soft, romantic character. Over approximately seven decades, the wool surface has developed an authentic distressed patina and subtle variations in colour and texture, making this a truly one-of-a-kind vintage piece.
The rug has a short-pile surface and was traditionally woven using wool coloured with vegetable dyes. Its floral rose design makes it particularly attractive for interiors combining vintage pieces with contemporary furniture.
