An authentic 70-year-old Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, traditionally handwoven in Anatolia from 100% wool. Measuring 218 × 131 cm, this one-of-a-kind rug features a striking central medallion composition surrounded by traditional Anatolian floral and geometric motifs. The design combines a warm terracotta and rust-red field with a soft cream central medallion, deep navy blue accents and muted blue-green details. The contrasting border gives the rug a particularly rich and sophisticated appearance. Approximately seven decades of natural ageing have created the beautiful distressed patina, softened colours and subtle variations in the wool surface that make genuine vintage Turkish rugs so desirable. The rug has a short-pile surface, is entirely handwoven from 100% wool, and features colours traditionally created using vegetable dyes.
