A unique 70-year-old Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, traditionally handwoven in Anatolia from 100% wool. Measuring 216 × 141 cm, this authentic vintage rug features a beautifully aged all-over floral pattern with repeating traditional Anatolian motifs. Its rich colour combination is particularly distinctive: a warm brick red and terracotta field is surrounded by a deep green border, with darker charcoal and muted grey details throughout the design. Decades of natural ageing have softened the colours and created the wonderfully distressed surface that gives genuine vintage Turkish rugs their unmistakable character. The rug has a short-pile surface and was traditionally handwoven using wool coloured with vegetable dyes. The subtle variations in the weave, fading and patina are natural characteristics of its age and handmade origin.
