Magnificent matching set of two storage boxes from the traditional Tuareg Saharan art tradition (Niger/Mali).
This set includes a large box and its miniature counterpart. Entirely handmade, these unique pieces consist of a rigid wooden structure fully covered in black goatskin leather (traditionally dyed with charcoal), richly embossed, chiseled, and stamped with tribal geometric patterns.
The large box features a superb, highly refined crescent and plant motif on its front, demonstrating a level of craftsmanship far superior to standard models.
Refined interiors: The interior of the large box is lined with impeccable black felt/velvet to protect your belongings. The small box has a traditional 100% leather interior, highlighting its raw and authentic character.
