STENRO reduces the side table to its most elemental form: four natural stone surfaces form an open, almost sculptural cube. The light travertine characterizes the object with its natural, lively structure. Pores, inclusions, and fine color variations run through the stone, creating a deliberate contrast to the strictly geometric construction. Depending on the viewing angle, STENRO appears either as a compact stone block or as an open, architectural structure. With its exact dimensions of 40 × 40 × 40 cm, the table has classic cube proportions and can be used in many ways – as a side table next to a sofa or lounge chair, as a bedside table, or as a minimalist pedestal for art, ceramics, and other selected objects. Particularly interesting is the openness on two opposite sides. This makes the object appear surprisingly light despite the massive natural stone and allows it to be staged differently in the room depending on its positioning. The table is in authentic vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use. The travertine shows natural pores, irregularities, and color variations, as well as isolated traces of previous use. These characteristics are part of the natural stone's character and emphasize the individual appearance of the piece.
