Oval in shape and finished in a stylish burgundy, it features the famous lithograph from the 1840 work "The Bury Hunt," dedicated to Edmond Grundy of Bury in Lancashire, depicting riders and their pack of hounds. With two small, movable ring handles on the sides, this mid-century piece offers a warm, aristocratic charm, ideal for a study, library, or living room. Features and Condition: • Period: Circa 1960/1970 • Theme: English Hunt (The Bury Hunt, Lancashire) • Material: Lithographed tin, metal handles • Dimensions: 33 cm x 22 cm x 26 cm high • Condition: As found. A very pronounced antique patina with extensive cracking across the entire surface and several small chips and paint losses visible (particularly on the flank of the central horse) which attest to its raw authenticity.
