Vintage teak bureau designed by Johannes Sorth for the Danish quality brand Nexo Bornholm, 1960s.
A beautiful statement piece. This undeniably beautifully designed bureau. Solid teak legs, beautifully tapered. A graceful crossbar connects the two legs. The cabinet is crafted from solid teak and teak veneer in a warm hue with beautiful visible wood grain.
The cabinet has three spacious, smoothly operating drawers with elegant, organically shaped handles. Plenty of practical storage space. The middle section serves as a workstation with a pull-out worktop, mailboxes, and small drawers. All are housed behind a set of beautiful tambour doors, very refined. The top is equipped with three height-adjustable shelves.
In short, a beautiful multifunctional cabinet in excellent condition. A lovely wall filler.
