Vintage Teak Scissor Lamp with Rattan Shade | 1960s/70s | Mid-Century Scandinavian Wall Lamp
An exceptionally beautiful original vintage wall lamp from the late 1960s or 1970s in the Scandinavian Mid-Century style.
A particularly distinctive feature is the long, multi-sectioned scissor arm made of warm-toned wood, likely teak, which allows the lamp to be flexibly extended away from the wall and retracted again. When fully extended, the arm reaches a depth of approximately 100 cm – ideal, for example, next to a sofa, armchair, or bed.
A special highlight is the original, intricately woven wicker/rattan shade. Its open weave gives the lamp the typical natural character of Scandinavian design from the 1960s and 70s and, when switched on, creates an atmospheric interplay of light and shadow.
The combination of dark, warm wood and natural-colored wicker makes this lamp a beautiful accent for mid-century, Scandinavian, boho, and 1970s interiors.

The lamp features an elegantly articulated wooden scissor arm, most likely teak, with a wonderful warm reddish-brown tone. The ingenious extendable construction allows the light to be positioned close to the wall or extended up to approximately 100 cm into the room.
The original small hand-woven rattan/wicker shade is particularly charming. Its open weave creates a warm, atmospheric light and beautiful shadow pattern while giving the lamp its distinctive Scandinavian character.

Magnificent and decorative vintage wall lamp with furniture from the 60's / 70's.
The lamp has a characteristic, smooth arm of warm colored wood, made of teak. Thanks to the engineer's construction, the lamp is sealed tightly against the wall and has been placed at 100 cm of the chamber in the wall.
A great detail is the original small woven rotan/rieten lamp cap. Het open vlechtwerk zorgt with ingeschakelde lamp for strong light and a splendid game of light and shadow.
The combination of warm wood and natural light is characteristic of Scandinavian and Danish Modern design from the 60s and 70s.
