Vintage Danish design highboard / buffet cabinet in teak, 1960s
Buffet cabinet or highboard finished in teak veneer; the cabinet is characterized by typical Danish design with slender lines and refined details. The piece of furniture offers ample storage space and is divided into various compartments.
The upper section features a flap cabinet with narrow drawers and compartments behind it. Additionally, there are two doors with a bar section featuring a mirrored wall, and an open compartment for display. The lower section consists of three wide drawers with three sliding doors underneath, providing access to spacious cabinet compartments.
The sliding doors feature inlaid wooden handles, while the drawers are finished with long, organically shaped wooden handles. The doors have semi-circular brass handles, creating a beautiful contrast and a refined appearance.
A characterful cabinet with beautiful details and a warm look, which is both functional and decorative within a variety of interiors.
Dimensions W184 x H140 x D50 >37 cm. The cabinet is in very neat vintage condition, with a repaired piece of veneer on the lower left side (see detail photo), consistent with its age.
