Vintage teak desk designed by Gunnar Nielsen for the Danish quality brand Tibergaard, 1960s.
What a beautiful design! Solid teak legs, tapered. The top has a solid teak edge with an inlaid teak veneer. Beautiful warm teak hue with visible wood grain.
The desk has a double drawer on both sides that operate smoothly. The upper drawers can be locked with a key. The desk has a visual "floating" top, giving it a beautiful look—a characteristic of Danish design.
The book compartment at the back of the desk also allows it to be placed freestanding.
In very good condition, undamaged. Marked on the bottom.
