Vintage table lamp Raak / Tropic – 1960s
A very beautiful and rare vintage design table lamp from the Dutch brand Raak, model D2046 Tropic, from the 1960s. A distinctly mid-century design with an elegant and timeless look.
The lamp stands on a sleek chrome base and features a smoked glass globe with a brushed aluminum fixture. The glass globe rests loosely on the fixture, allowing the light to be easily directed in different directions. This makes the lamp both functional and decorative.
The lamp is in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of wear consistent with its age. Two versions of this model were made:
– this version with a smoked glass globe
– a version with a white acrylic shade on a chrome base
We currently also have the acrylic version in our collection.
A real eye-catcher and a beautiful addition for lovers of vintage and mid-century design. Perfect as a mood lamp in the living room, bedroom, or on a dresser.
