This Hillebrand table lamp, model 7603, is a design by Heinz F.W. Stahl from the 1970s. The fixture combines a sleek, mushroom-shaped shade with a robust chrome base, resulting in a timeless silhouette reminiscent of the Mad Men aesthetic.
The lamp is manufactured in Germany and consists of a black metal shade resting on a silver-colored chrome stand. A striking detail is the oversized push button on the base, which contributes to the design both functionally and aesthetically. Multiple sockets are located under the shade for even light distribution. The original Hillebrand label is still present on the felt-lined underside.
