Product description
A very nice and stylish Swedish vintage secretary desk. Designed in the 1960s by Egon Ostergaard for the Swedish company SMI. The piece is made entirely of teak and teak veneer and is a beautiful example of Scandinavian mid-century design. The desktop is extendable. Above the desk top are various compartments and two drawers. At the bottom, the desk has three deep drawers, the top one of which can be locked (the original key is present). The handles are semi-circular and characteristic of this type of furniture. The piece is in good condition but does show some light signs of use. For instance, there is a small black stain on the top and the left leg has some blemishes. There is a (not very neat) repair on the right corner. All in all, it is still a very nice and beautiful piece of furniture, a real asset to your vintage interior. Delivery is possible for a fee.
