Vintage Stool — Amsterdam School
A rare small stool from the Amsterdam School, discovered in China for its sculptural design: two rounded sides in solid wood, connected by a cylindrical crossbar, resting on beveled bases typical of the movement. A piece with a strong character, somewhere between Art Deco and Dutch Modernism.
The seat has been completely reupholstered to give it a more generous and feminine silhouette than in its original version—the cushion, initially flat, now drapes beautifully. It has been covered in an animal print by Cherry fliPs, an English design house whose prints we adore, in an exclusive collaboration for this piece.
The result: a sculptural occasional stool, both raw and sophisticated, that looks equally at home at the foot of a bed or as an extra seat in a living room.
