Product description
This is an authentic vintage Steinhauer pendant lamp from the 1970s or 1980s, produced by the well-known Dutch lighting company Steinhauer from Apeldoorn. The design is a striking example of Dutch Design from the Space Age period, recognizable by the iconic mushroom shape that was very popular at the time.
The lamp features an opal white plastic shade, which ensures a soft and even light distribution. This shade is accentuated by a solid dark oak headpiece and brass-colored details, creating a warm contrast. A characteristic functional element is the retractable spiral cable, also known as a pull cord, which allows the height of the lamp to be easily adjusted. The fixture is equipped with three sockets, ensuring sufficient lighting.
The fixture is in good vintage condition, with the materials retaining their original character. The combination of plastic, wood, and metal reflects the production techniques and aesthetics of the late twentieth century.
